SESSION SAFETY PROTOCOLS

LAST UPDATED ON 4/15/22

FOR GUIDANCE ON QUARANTINING/ISOLATION, please reference this FLOW CHART.

As of Monday 4/18/22, we have opted to make masks strongly encouraged but optional for any person in our facilities – including our instructors.

We ask that any questions regarding this policy be directed to our ownership group (theshredder@shredderski.com) or directly to your facility’s email address so that our class instructors can focus on providing a great experience for your kids!

  • Please attend class in a “socially responsible” way! If your child is feeling under the weather, please take precautions – we will work with you on a make-up for a later date.
    • Feeling “under the weather” includes the following:
      • Coughing
      • Sneezing
      • Stuffy/runny nose
      • Feeling feverish
      • Headache
    • We recommend referencing this document for at home symptom-screening before attending a Shredder program: CDPHE COVID-19 Guidance, “Can I go to school today?”
  • Please bring your own helmet for your child.
    • This can be ANY type of helmet e.g. it does not need to be mountain-sport specific (bike helmets are welcome!)
    • We will have our helmets available for use should your child NOT have a helmet; if a child must use our helmet, we will sanitize after use and set aside for at least a 2-hour period.
  • Feel free to bring any other equipment for your child (i.e. skis, boots).
    • We will still have sanitized boots and gear available for use during our programs; this is included in all program costs.
  • Please do not enter the facility more than ~5 minutes before your class START time to drop-off your child.
    • Please pay attention to signage and instructions from staff; there will be certain areas in the facility where non-participants cannot pass beyond. We appreciate your respect for these guidelines.
  • Please do not enter the facility more than ~5 minutes before your class END time to pick-up your child.
    • This will allow our staff to conduct drop-off and pick-up processes in an orderly fashion!
  • We recognize that there may be crossover between the start times of one class and the ending times of another. We ask that any congregating of parents and students to take place outside of our facility. This will allow us to focus our attention on teaching your children, cleaning equipment and high touch areas, and providing the safest experience possible for your little Shredders!
