How do kids get ready for Winter Park or Breckenridge?

Start indoors before you hit I-70. A few sessions and your child arrives at Winter Park or Breckenridge already confident on edges and turns — ready to enjoy the day instead of learning from scratch on a cold slope.
Can adults and teens ski or snowboard here?

Yes. From age 10 to adult, book a private lesson, one-on-one with a coach. Our group programs are for kids 1 to 10.
My child has never skied or snowboarded. Is that okay?

Absolutely — that's our specialty. Most of our students come in with zero experience. Our programs are specifically designed for first-timers, and our instructors are trained to make that first experience fun and confidence-building.
What should my child wear?

No snow gear needed — our facility is climate-controlled and comfortable year-round. Athletic clothes work perfectly. You're welcome to bring your own helmet if you have one.
Is gear included?

Yes — all ski and snowboard gear (skis/snowboard, boots, poles, helmet) is included and professionally fitted every week. There's nothing extra to buy or bring.
How much do ski and snowboard sessions cost?

Pricing depends on the program and session length. Every session includes all gear — skis or snowboard, boots, and helmet — so there are no separate equipment fees for training. Choose a program above to see current sessions and pricing for your family.
What age can kids start skiing and snowboarding?

Kids can start as young as 1 in Yeti School, our parent-and-child program, then progress through Little Shredders and Ski & Board School to age 10. We group by age and ability, so your child is always learning alongside peers at their level. From 10 to adult, book a private lesson.
How soon will my child be ready for the mountain?

Most kids build real, transferable skills in their first few sessions. Every child progresses at their own pace, and our coaches track each skill — so you'll see exactly how your child is growing toward mountain-ready.
What's Shredder's refund and credit policy?

Refund and credit options vary by program, timing, and enrollment type. For full-session group programs: a refund may be available if you withdraw before the 3rd scheduled week; a Shredder credit may be available for the remaining weeks after (missing a single week isn't a withdrawal). Camps & Parent's Night Out: refunds or credits depend on advance-cancellation timing. Private lesson deposits follow the same advance-timing structure. Birthday party deposits are non-refundable once confirmed.

Do you offer private lessons before a ski trip?

Yes — this is one of the most popular ways to use private lessons. Many Denver families book a lesson or a series of private lessons before heading on a ski trip. Even 2–3 lessons can make a dramatic difference in confidence on the mountain.
What if my child misses a week?

We don't run make-ups, but for an excused absence your facility can issue a one-time coupon code worth the value of an Open Gym — usable toward any program and valid through the end of the session. Contact us at

Where exactly is the Central Park location?

We're at 4890 Ironton St, Units F+G, Denver, CO 80239 — in the Shops at Northfield area of Central Park, about 15 minutes from downtown Denver.
Is there parking or anything I should know before arriving?

Yes — free parking in the shopping center lot. Look for the Shredder Ski sign. Plan to arrive about 10 minutes early for your first session so we can get gear fitted.
How do I add participant information after booking?
▾
You'll be prompted to add participant details (age, experience, ski or snowboard preference, shoe size) at checkout. This is required before your first session — if we don't receive it in time, we may not be able to accommodate your session. Email us at
